log - open a log file

  log [filename]

Write a log file containing the screen output generated by XIMAGE.

The option filename specifies name of the file; the file extension is .log. If no filename is specified then the default of ximage.log is used.

A log file will be closed if:

• a new log file name is specified (this will open a new log file);

• the filename is given as ``none";

• or XIMAGE is exited.
