sum_images[/qualifiers]
This sums the current image with the image previously saved with command save_image. The result of the sum becomes the current image. The two images are rotated to a common roll of -90 degrees (north up, east left). The default uses the center of the current image. This command assumes the two images have the same elemental pixel scale size (on the sky).
To make further mosaics using the summed image, the summed image must first be saved.
The right ascension of summed image center. The default is equal to that of the current image.
The declination of summed image center. The default is equal to that of the current image.
To specify the equinox for the requested coordinate image center, given using /RA and /DEC. By default the current XIMAGE equinox is assumed.
To specify if coordinates are given as degrees value rather than "hr mn sc`` and "deg mm ss``.
Example:
sum_image ! sum the current and saved images
