{"id":171,"date":"2016-02-07T15:29:53","date_gmt":"2016-02-07T15:29:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ira.inaf.it\/iaus342\/?page_id=171"},"modified":"2018-01-31T22:26:31","modified_gmt":"2018-01-31T22:26:31","slug":"iau-travel-grants","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.ira.inaf.it\/iaus342\/iau-travel-grants\/","title":{"rendered":"IAU Travel Grants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A generous grant from the IAU will enable us offer a number of travel grants to persons from disadvantaged regions or circumstances, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iau.org\/science\/meetings\/rules\/#38\">per IAU guidelines<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p><strong>Who can apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Everyone except invited speakers can apply, as long as they provide a contribution (following IAU rules).<\/p>\n<p><strong>When?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The application deadline for an IAU Travel grant expired on <strong>14 January 2018<\/strong>.\u00a0Successful applicants will be notified by <strong>28 February 2018<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For more details about the criteria that will be adopted to assess the IAU Travel grant applications, please see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iau.org\/science\/meetings\/rules\/#38\">the rules and guidelines for IAU Symposia and Meetings<\/a>.
