Riccione is in easy reach to the 4 nearby airports of Rimini, Forli', Bologna and Ancona which are served by low-cost flights to many European cities. From there, you may take a train to reach Riccione: on average, it takes 1.5 hours, 10 min, 45 min, 1 hour to reach Riccione from Bologna, Rimini, Forli` and Ancona, respectively. Please also note that some (high- velocity) trains (ES, Frecciarossa) require compulsary seat reservation. Therefore, we strongly suggest to get train tickets only when you are at the respective departure stations (and you are sure which train to get on).
In case you get your ticket at the ticket desk or from a ticket machine, do not forget to validate it at any of the small yellow machines before getting on the train.

For trains arriving from north or west (i.e. from Bologna, Forli', Rimini) Riccione is not the final destination of the train you will get on, but the first stop after Rimini (except for those stopping at Rimini Miramare as well), some 8 minutes after departure from Rimini central station.
The Riccione railway station is within walking distance from the town centre and the hotel (at the beach). A shuttle from the station to the hotel may be made available. Please let us know in advance if you want to make use of this service.
