BRIEF DOCUMENTATION The new catalogue of radio sources observed in VLBI with the EVN radio telescopes starts with Session 1 - 1999. It includes all sources observed after that date in EVN experiments, global and VSOP experiments involving at least two EVN telescopes. Experiments with VLBA+Eb are not included. The catalogue is ordered in increasing right ascension. Human errors are also included. The new catalogue contains 12 entries. Details are given below. Column 1 - J2000 IAU Name Each source is recognised with its J2000 IAU name, given as Jhhmm+ddss. In a limited number of cases, PIs used B1950 coordinates as pointings. In such cases the B1950 IAU name is given for the sources, and B1950 RA and DEC are given in the appropriate entry. Column 2 - Alternative source name Usually the B1950 IAU name, or common names from other catalogues (optical, radio, IRAS, TXS). The alternative name chosen by the PI in the schedule is given. Columns 3 and 4 - J2000 RA and DEC The pointing coordinates are reported. The format is hhmmsssss and (+/-)ddppsssss. In a limited number of cases B1950 coordinates were used. Such cases are easily recognisable as the source is identified with the B1950 IAU name. Column 5 - Project Investigator (PI) Column 6 - Affiliation of the PI at the time of the observations Column 7 - Project Number Column 8 - Observing wavelength Column 9 - Array The telescopes involved in the observation are given. EVN and VLBA arrays are considered as a whole, and are recognised as E and V. In addition: Ar - Arecibo Cm - Cambridge Hh - Hartbstk Hlc - Halca Mh - Metsahovi MRL - MERLIN phased array Ny - NY Alesund Ro - Robledo Sh - Shanghai Ur - Urumqi Y - VLA (Y1 or Y27) Yb - Yebes Wz - Wettzell Column 10 - Observing mode and setup Column 11 - Observing time (in hours) Column 12 - Observing date, given as yyddd Column 13 - Correlator: J=JIVE, B=Bonn.
