Conference "The many facets of extragalactic radio surveys: towards new
scientific challenges" - Fifth Announcement

Dear participants,

the conference is quickly approaching, and we look forward to seeing you
all in Bologna.
With this announcement we would like to update you with some important
information (see below).

* SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME
The programme of the conference is now available at the conference

* INFORMATION FOR SPEAKERS
- Invited talks have 20 minutes allocated, plus 10 minutes for questions -
Contributed talks have 15 minutes allocated, plus 5 minutes for
questions

Speakers are kindly requested to hand in their presentation to the LOC the
day before
the talk is scheduled to be given (or before the start of their session,
at the latest). The filename of your presentation MUST start with your
surname.

Available presentation formats will be MS PowerPoint, which will run on
PCs under  Windows, and PDF.  Presentations  prepared  on  other  systems
(Mac,  Linux,...)  as  well  as  presentations made  with  other software
should  be  checked  well  in
advance for  compatibility.

* POSTERS
The maximum size allowed for posters is 84 x 120 cm or 33 x 47 inches (A0
format).

Posters can be briefly presented in the scheduled poster sessions.
Speakers will have 2 minutes each for their poster presentation.
Those that are willing to exploit this opportunity are kindly requested to
provide 1 or 2 slides in pdf format to the LOC (survey2015@ira.inaf.it),
who will assemble all slides in a single presentation. The filename of
your presentation MUST start with your surname.

The deadline for sending your slides is Friday, OCTOBER 16th.
We won’t include any late slides in poster sessions.

* PARALLEL SELF-ORGANIZED DISCUSSIONS
Upon request, we can accommodate parallel self-organized discussions. For
the moment we have allocated some time for it at the end of the first day
(Tuesday October 20th). If you are interested in exploiting this
opportunity please contact the LOC (survey2015@ira.inaf.it), and we will
arrange a room for you. Parallel discussion sessions will be advertised at
the conference venue.

* WELCOME COCKTAIL
We are pleased to announce that we will have a welcome cocktail in town on
October 20th. We’ll let you know the location as soon as finalized.

* CONFERENCE DINNER
The conference dinner will be held at the historical ’Palazzo Re Enzo’, on
Thursday 22nd October. You can pay the conference dinner at the desk, at
your arrival. The dinner will cost 40 Euro for either attendees or
accompanying persons.

* PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEE
We remind those who will pay the registration fee at the desk that the
late fee will be applied (300 Eu). The registration fee includes lunches
and coffee breaks, as well as the welcome cocktail. The fee DOES NOT
include the conference dinner.
